United Kingdom

FREE secure delivery via DPD courier. This is a next day service for the UK mainland. An email will advise you that the parcel has been dispatched, another will follow advising of a delivery window.
If the delivery date/time is not convenient you request a preferred alternative.

Europe

FREE secure delivery.  Fully tracked, delivery in 2 to 6 days.

Worldwide

FREE secure delivery. Delivery times may vary between 2 and 6 days depending on the destination.

Customs and Tax to destinations outside the UK from 1st January 2021:

EU customers:  The post Brexit EU/UK trade agreement which came into effect on 1st January 2021 means that EU customers will be liable for their domestic country’s VAT instead of 20% UK VAT.  20% UK VAT will therefore be deducted from our website prices when you select an EU destination. Any domestic VAT will be payable to the courier prior to delivery. The courier may charge a small administration fee which is normally around 5 EUR.

Should you return a pair for exchange of size you will not be charged duty again on the replacement pair as we shall despatch duty paid.

Non EU customers: Our website’s listed prices will have UK VAT at 20% deducted when you select your destination country. You may be liable for some local taxes and duty which are payable to the courier prior to delivery.  Please note that any such charges are outside our control.

Parcels returned to us due to the recipient refusing to pay local taxes will be refunded less any fees or duties incurred by us in order receive them back.

Tax is not normally charged on replacement pairs or repairs.

Accessories:

Carriage is charged at the market rate when ordered on their own.

Guarantee:

If for any reason you are not totally satisfied with your purchase simply return to us within 60 days in their original condition, free for UK residents, for a full refund of the price of the item or exchange.

Returns:

The boots are thoroughly inspected prior to dispatch and should reach you in perfect condition. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return them to us within 60 days for a full refund of the price of the goods or exchange as follows: The items must be in a saleable condition, unworn and in the original packaging. If you request an exchange we shall send you out a replacement pair free of delivery charges. In the unlikely event that items are received faulty or damaged then a total refund is given, including your cost of returns postage if applicable. Returns should be wrapped well. Please include your full name and request for either exchange or refund as follows:

UK returns are Free: We provide a free next day, fully tracked returns service from your local DPD drop off store for all non-sale items.  Please email sales@dewinterboots.com and request a DPD free returns label.
For sale items you can still request a DPD returns label but there will be a £6 fee to pay.

Returns from outside the UK: We suggest that you return items using your postal service rather than a courier as this should avoid any customs clearance charges which you would be liable for. We particularly recommend avoiding FedEx for this reason.

Refusal to accept customs charges:  Should you refuse to accept the parcel when the courier requests payment of taxes and the parcel is consequently returned to us we shall charge you for the carriage costs.
